Comic sans is bad and you're bad for using it ...

I'm way too passionate about comic sans.  I hate comic sans.  It reminds me of the terrible presentations we've all experienced.  Dark, warm room, bright white backgrounds and text dense slides read word for word to the audience.    The posted link from NYMag argues that hating comic sans is ableist.  I've never heard of presentations designed for dyslexics (in an academic setting).  However if your target audience is dyslexic consider adding OpenDyslexic which cleverly weighs down the bottoms of fonts to keep letters from such as 'p' and 'd' from looking the same when flipped upside down.

Note the bottom of each letter rendered in OpenDyslexic font
