That "fat white guy." - My journey from sugar - 2017-Feb-08

Last night I received my PIN from Excelleris.  It activated my online results portal through LifeLabs. DOB, PHN,  and ordering physician are redacted.

As such here are my lab results:

My lab results January 30, 2017

I've lost quite a bit of hair in the last year, prior to starting my modified diet.  The free T4 and T3 tests suggest adequate thyroid function.  Thanks Mom for all that baldness goodness of on my X-chromosome.

The important stuff.  My triglycerides are low.  My HDL cholesterol is normal for the first time.  That elevation in HDL pushed my total cholesterol higher.  My LDL cholesterol is just outside of normal.  Glucose is within normal range as well.  The most shocking thing about these lab results is that I'm still considered overweight and my diet is high in saturated fats, red meat, and eggs.

Overall I'm pleased and the absence of a phone call from my physician indicates no problem.  I have no reason to believe there is any cardiac damage.  Historically I have good heart function and low blood pressure.

Huge thanks to Jon for letting me know I'm [a] 'that fat white guy.'  I owe you a hug brother or at least a greasy plate of bacon.

Oh and ... I win!
